Accelerating and De-Risking Commercialization
Accelerating Development of Responsible Energy & Climate Technologies
Cutting-Edge Computation to Commercialize Sustainable Energy Technologies
We Believe that our planet should be livable for everyone today, and for generations to come. The idea that the ecosystem we share should support everyone who lives in it informs everything we do to help our clients.
We Accelerate commercialization by deploying our technical expertise and practical experience to help our clients optimize their use of materials, equipment and processes and efficiently meet their research objectives and business goals.
We Partner successfully with federal, academic, and industrial entities that wish to increase the efficiency of sustainable energy solutions and offset emissions that contribute to climate change.
Leaders in Technology Optimization & Risk Assessment
Founded with National Laboratory level expertise, AristoSys is a small business with a mission to apply unique and powerful skill sets to accelerate and de-risk energy technology commercialization.
We are uniquely qualified to develop state-of-the-art computational modeling & optimization underpinning expert technical, economic and policy analyses.
We support complex research, development and demonstration programs that strive to reduce the carbon footprint of the global economy.
Our rigorous optimization and high throughput computational screening support better decision-making and more thorough risk analysis in place of the standard techno-economic analyses that typify this field.
Our computational results are generated orders of magnitude faster than those generated by the most prevalent conventional approaches, and our results quantify confidence levels more rigorously that other typical analyses can.
Our Leadership
Michael Matuszewski
Mr. Matuszewski founded AristoSys in 2016 on the belief that all generations have equal rights to live in a sustainable ecosystem. Michael has over 20 years of experience developing technologies to improve our environment, analyzing their performance, and directing research and development programs. Michael has national laboratory level expertise leading improvements in modeling, simulation, and optimization approaches for energy systems. AristoSys was founded on his experience and motivation to accelerate and de-risk commercialization of energy solutions that address the urgency of climate change.
As a globally-recognized thought leader in carbon management, Michael led the U.S. Department of Energy’s Carbon Capture Program while at the National Energy Technology Laboratory. The strategy Mr. Matuszewski implements to guide the operation of AristoSys fully leverages his unique expertise and collaborations gained from his career positions in the industrial, academic and public service sectors.
Michael performed his Doctoral studies in Chemical Engineering with a focus in Process Systems Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University and earned Master’s and Bachelor’s Degrees in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
